Where Kids Can Ski Free in Quebec

Here’s the thing. Skiing is expensive! I’m going to break down a few hacks I have found to help offset the costs of gearing up your kids for skiing or snowboarding. Today I’m focusing primarily on the cost of the lift ticket.

I found a handful of great hills that offer free tickets for little ones and reduced rates for kids 6-12. I’ve also included the adult price, because as my husband says, they get you on the adult ticket. So sometimes even if they kids cost a few bucks, might be worth it as the adult ticket isn’t that bad.

A lot of the prices are web discounted (meaning if you purchase the tickets online they are at a reduced rate, but I really tried to include the regular rate). I’ve linked to all the hills in the title of the hill and I’ve sorted the hills out from $0 to most expensive for kids. I haven’t factored the adult price in the ranking.

There is also the Snow Pass specific for kids in grade 4 & 5. They can ski two times at over 125 hills across Canada include a lot of resorts here in Quebec. It’s only $29 and you need to make an application. A few restrictions apply, but it’s certainly worth a look if you’re child qualifies.

I know I didn’t capture all the hills, I include the most popular ones in the province. Let me know if I need to add your favourite hill to the list.

Prices were accurate at time of publication, but always check with the hill’s website before purchasing.
