OutdoorMaster Ski Googles Pro have gotten a lot of buzz recently, and when I was given the chance to try some for myself, I jumped at the opportunity. Here is my OutdoorMaster Ski Goggle Pro Review (after actually using them for a day on the slopes).
OutdoorMaster Ski Goggle Pro Review
So what are the OutdoorMaster Ski Googles Pro?
The OutdoorMaster Ski Googles Pro are a winter sports frameless google that fit over glasses, have 100% UV400 protection, have a magnet lens changing system, have anti-fogging coating, rubber inside of the strap to keep the goggles in place, and have a 3 layers of breathable foam to ensure the least amount of fogging as possible.
They run about about $60 Canadian (depending on the current sales at OutdoorMaster) and come in over 20 different colours. They also a great variety of VLT levels. From 99% to 10% VLT you’re going to find an option that works best for you.
(What is VLT: it’s the amount of light that reaches your eyes through the lens and VLT is short for visible light transmission. Lighter lens tints have a higher VLT because more light passes through the lens. Yellow, gold, amber, green or rose-colored lenses all offer increased VLT and make good choices on cloudy, socked-in days.)
Suggested VLT levels depending on the light.
Bright & Sunny : 5% – 20% VLT
Partial Sunny & Overcast: 25% – 60% VLT
Snowy & Night: 65% – 90% VLT
The biggest feature of the OutdoorMast Ski Googles Pro is the magnet lens change system, which allows you to easily switch from a 10% VLT to a 99% VLT if needed. The replacement lenses sell for about $40 which is cheaper than buying an entire new pair of googles. (and honestly takes up less space in your ski bag).

I tested the googles on a perfect ski day. It was very sunny and about -10C. As covid rules are in place at most ski hills, I had to wear a face mask while skiing. I didn’t have a light neck warmer style mask yet, so I was using a regular reusable face mask as well as a neck warmer. Needless to say I was a bit hot and breathing heavier than normal. THE GOOGLES DID NOT FOG UP!
I’m a glasses wearer, and I’m all to used to my glasses fogging when I’m wearing a mask. I did not experience that at all while wearing these.
Additionally, these goggles fit right into my helmet. I didn’t have any of those awkward looking gaps from my googles to my helmet. (I’m wearing an Anon helmet for reference).
I love how much of my face was covered by the goggle and because of the rubber band on the inside of the straps, the goggles did not move all day.
At one point of the day I did want to move my goggles up from my face onto my helmet, and I pulled from the magnetic lens instead of the strap, so my lens did come off. I was easily able to place it back on (the magnets are really strong and it’s easy to place the lens back on), and noted that you should pull from the straps and not from the lenses if you want to move your goggles up.

Bottom Line: 100% Yes. For price and performance, they are great goggles!
