It all starts with your snowboard gear. Here are the basics which you most likely already have. If not, you can always rent most of these items from the hill you are traveling to. If renting a board locally, I suggest that you bring your own boots. If you’re brining the entire kit, pack your snowboard boots in your snowboard bag.

  1. Snowboard & Bindings
  2. Goggles + spare lenses for varying conditions (One for Bright, One for Dark)
  3. Snowboard Boots
  4. Helmet
  5. Hand and feet warmers
  6. Ski Key to Lock your board
  7. Snowboard Bag
  8. Impact Shorts
  9. Back Pack while you’re snowboarding
  10. Multi Tool

Snowboard Clothing

Here is where you don’t want to skim, or go for chance at the hill. Bring your snowboarding clothing with you. Make sure you have adequate base layers (not made of cotton) and that you pack extras. Even if your accommodations have a laundry onsite, you’ll need at least 2 pairs of most things to ensure you have enough time to dry your gear before heading out.

  • Snowboard Jacket
  • Snowboard pants
  • Base layers (wool and or quick wicking fabrics)
  • Mid layer (fleece top and bottoms)
  • Sports bra
  • 2-3 pairs of gloves
  • 3-4 Snowboard Socks
  • Neck gaiter
  • Skull Cap for under your helmet
