Les Sommets (the family of hills that include Saint-Sauveur, versant Avila, Gabriel, Olympia, Morin Heights, and Edelweiss) announced it’s 2020-2021 winter season operations details. In collaboration with the Association des Stations de Ski du Québec (ASSQ) and public authorities, les Sommets is currently working to put in place effective preventive and health measures to limit the risk of the spread of COVID-19. These measures will be set out in a plan to be unveiled shortly by the ASSQ.

What’s important to note that there are 3 crucial operational changes that will be implemented this season to provide a controlled and safe environment for our visitors.

Here is Les Sommets 2020-2021 winter season operation details as of September 23, 2020.

1. Priority to our pass holders

2020-2021 season pass holders will be able to access the slopes at any time, whether regular or optional, without reservation, depending on the prescription of their subscription.

The first 2 operating weekends of the 2020-21 season at Sommet Saint-Sauveur will be exclusive to Les Sommets members. No daily tickets will be sold for this period.

To offer a vast ski area for our members, the number of daily customers’ daily tickets will be significantly limited.

2. Limited inventory

Season passes currently on sale are offered in limited quantities to maintain reasonable traffic control on our trails.

Daily tickets will also be on sale on a limited basis, and quantities will vary depending on the season. Customers will have to buy their tickets in advance on our website to book their day at the mountain.

3. Mountain Schedules

We are pleased to announce that our 5 Sommets are scheduled to be operational this winter. However, the current situation requires us to change the schedule of our stations for the 2020-2021 season.

  • Sommet Saint-Sauveur(including versant Avila) : Open 7 days and 7 nights.
  • Sommet Olympia: Open from December (every weekends and 7/7 during the holiday season) and from January 11, 2021, open 5 days from Wednesday to Sunday as well as Friday and Saturday nights.
  • Sommet Morin Heights: Open from December (every weekends and 7/7 during the holiday season) and from January 11, 2021, open 5 days from Wednesday to Sunday as well as Friday and Saturday nights.
  • Sommet Gabriel: Open from December (every weekends and 7/7 during the holiday season) and from January 11, 2021, open 5 days from Wednesday to Sunday and closed in the evening.
  • Sommet Edelweiss: Open from December (every weekends and 7/7 during the holiday season) and from January 11, 2021, open 6 days and 6 nights from Wednesday to Monday.
